Book Wonderland

Kinokuniya bookstore in Sydney (where I had my solo exhibition - [link] ) asked me to illustrate their x-mas catalogue's cover. After some initial discussions, the idea then grew to something bigger.. they wanted me to provide them with a series of illustrations to create a theme for the exterior and interior of the shop. After I gave them several options.. they were suggesting that they love to revisit the wonderland theme. The first idea was to reuse some of the images from my exhibition.. but I ended up suggesting that I should create a new series for them (I couldn't resist).

So, let's start with the cover for today. I'll upload more images and photos from the shop later.
